Sparring

Sparring is where the students begin pulling together the various skills they have been exposed to. Out students begin sparring after they achieve their orange belts (8th Kyu). All sparring students wear protective gear and are supervised by instructors at all times. Sparring puts into action and reinforces the moves already learned in the Katas the students have been exposed to.
